Summer ...

what we've been up to...

Noah is our resident bug collector. Here he is with a little caterpillar. We have made many bug habitats this summer for caterpillars, spiders, potato bugs and worms.

"The Property"
It least once a summer we take a little trip to the "property" for some fun in the dirt....

"Swimming & Swimming Lessons"
We have had a blast spending lots of time in the water this summer, and I am happy to report that swimming lessons went down with much less drama this year. Jackson is a fast swimmer and learning good stroke technique, the twins have made amazing progress. Noah has got a great freestyle stroke while Baden rocks the backstroke.

Jackson, working on his dives. Just ask him he'll tell you he's as good as Michael Phelps. He doesn't lack confidence that's for sure.

My little Chase, he is 2 months old and the sweetest little boy. I can't get enough of him. He is happy and still loves to cuddle. His smiles melt my heart and I love to sit and chat with him when I can steal a quiet moment. Plus he is already sleeping through the night...we're talking a good 8 hour stretch. Bless his heart!

Jackson loves biking. We had some fun mornings earlier this month watching the tour de france in our jammies, rooting for Andy Shleck and Jackson's favorite Mark Cavendish and of course booing Contador. Jackson (sporting his dad's team jersey) took 2nd in his second crit race of the season. He did awesome beating kids much older than him. He even survived his first crash when the kid who came in first pulled a "U-turn" right in front of him. He had some good road rash but thankfully was okay. He is now training for his first tri later this month.

I am so glad that Chase is sleeping through the night! Way to go! Carson is also a little bug collector as well. He brings bugs inside and it makes me so happy...
Jackson looks awesome with his bike.
