The Lights at Temple Square

* Lovin the Lights *

Last year (for the first time ever) we did not make it down to see the lights at Temple Square. The twins were small and it seemed like every time we would plan to go it was bitterly cold and I was admittedly a little paranoid about keeping the boys healthy last year. That being said it felt like something was slightly amiss without our annual trip so this year we made the trek early and it was well worth the wait. The twins LOVED seeing the lights and were pointing and "Oohing" at everything. Jackson gladly took their spot in the stroller and they loved the time they got to spend in Daddy's arms. Of course I don't know which they enjoyed more the lights or the horses that pull the carriages. Next year I think we'll have to plan to take a carriage ride. The lights were amazing, just like I remember them. It isn't Christmas without the annual trek to see the lights on Temple Square.

It was cold, wasn't it? Sheesh! We made it a quick trip, so as not to get hypothermia. But, you're right, it's just not Christmas unless you go see the temple lights.
