This weekend Jackson went on a big adventure with his Papa. On Friday they left for a (grand) Father and (grand) son camp out. Jackson came home wide eyed and so excited to tell us about all the things he did. He got to play in the snow, play lots of games, and Papa and Jackson both found some pretty great hiking sticks. Jackson got to sleep on the top bunk and they had sausage for breakfast, what can I say the boy likes his breakfast meats.
After a action packed night of camping out Papa and Jackson headed for the famous Dairy Keen. Jackson had a blast eating ice cream in the little train. And is now sporting and awesome new train conductor's hat.
As if that wasn't enough they ended their big adventure with a trip on the new frontrunner train. They sat on the upper deck and apparently has quite the view.
Jackson had so much fun with his Papa. He had so much to tell us and as his Papa was pulling out of the driveway Jackson was yelling...."Bye, Papa. You can take me camping again next week." We sure love our Papa, I am so glad Jackson will always have such a special memory.

How fun is that! Joseph is jealous Jackson went on the Frontrunner. We need to make that a must for an activity in the summer. What a fun grandpa! Makes me miss my dad even more because he did such fun stuff like that with my kids before he left on his mission. Hope you guys are all doing well!!
That looks like so much fun! I am so glad that Jackson got to spend some time with his Papa! I wish we could all do something like that as a family.
Looks like big adventure for Jackson! That's so great that his grandpa would do that with him. Those are such fun memories to have.
