I love being the mom to 3 boys. Okay somedays I want to pull my hair out, lets be honest there are moments in most days that the thought occurs like today when the twins found the toilet plunger in the garage and then went in the house to plunge the toilet. They were very upset that I ruined their fun. But my boys are easily entertained. They have spent countless hours on top of our retaining wall digging in the dirt and we love places like the Bingham Coppermine. Dirt, rocks and big trucks what more do you need. The highlight of the trip was when they took the money they had gotten in grandma's easter egg hunt and bought rocks at the gift shop. They had been asking to do this for months now. They each bought one rock that has been polished and then a geod which we brought home and got to crack open with Dad's big hammer, add tools to any activity and they have a smile on their face....which is such a guy thing if I might add. We have started going on our little outings without our big double stroller. That stroller was such a fixture in our travels for so long I almost miss it. It is hard to believe that the twins 3rd birthday is right around the corner. I sure love my little guys...who aren't so little anymore.

hey, we went there a few weeks ago. It scared the hell out of Ella, and for some reason she keeps talking about "the big hole". Your boys were probably way more into the big trucks and the digging than Ella was. We went on a rainy day and all she was interested in was a treat from the gift shop. Oh well!! I tried.
Boys will be boys. Sounds like they had a blast. Give us a call when you have another outing, Reese always loves to be outside.
I love boys, too. Easily entertained, no drama, etc. You're such a great mom!
