Liberty Park

We spent the afternoon at Liberty Park, it was so nice...warm and sunny...and thank heavens no rain. We had a great time. Our field trips have been so much fun lately, we are so much more mobile than we have been, and while it is still a lot of work to go anywhere with 3 kids it is significantly easier than when the twins were toddlers. The twins will be 3 in a few months  so we leave the stroller and and all go exploring together.

We didn't come prepared for a wardrobe change but the boys didn't care they were soaking wet and loved riding home in their underwear. Which reminds me I should probably get their wet clothes out of the van. What a great afternoon.

Baden....what a clown!!

We were headed to the playground but were sidetracked by the wading pools. I love how kids can find such joy in simple things. They didn't need any fancy toys they just splashed around and got soaking wet and of course were in heaven.

The boys of course BEGGED to ride the carnival rides. They were all smiles during their rickety airplane ride.

We started at Tracy Aviary. We saw the bird show which the boys loved, fed the ducks and happened to be there (2:00 pm everyday apparently) to watch them feed the pelicans.

I love that picture of Baden, belly-down in the river. He looks like he is in heaven! I'll have to get the kids down there soon--they would love it.
