The Pottery Barn catalog came in the mail the other day and I am in love with this chair. The fabric is amazing and it would look awesome with the furniture in my living room. Okay lets be honest I would never pay such prices for a chair and if I did I would have to keep it covered in plastic to keep my little darlings from defiling it, and where is the joy in that. So until I become independently wealthy and my little darlings learn how to sit and not stand on my furniture I will hope Target comes out with a fabulous knock off.

I do love that chair! I know what you mean. I just want a bunch of cheap IKEA stuff to last me until the manners and decorum kick in. What? 10, 15 more years? Here's to the future and nice furniture!

Ladies - Pier One has some throw pillows with a very similar pattern. So, if you can't have the chair for fear that it will become a trampoline or coloring surface with the little ones, maybe a pillow will hold you over for a while? I don't have kids, but shriek in fear every time my giant dog jumps on my leather chairs!
