Today was a crazy day. We had promised Jackson all day we would carve pumpkins so when we got home that night after the ward Halloween party we set to work. The twins were so tired poor boys, they ate a snack and went straight to bed.

Jackson and I designed the faces for our 3 pumpkins (1 for each boy) Daddy did all the carving, like the pro he is, of course he did try and talk me into just carving one but I insisted we do all 3. Since Daddy was doing all the carving Jackson and I had to clean all the "guts" out of the pumpkins. Last year he dug right in this year he was a big squeamish. First he tried to use a spoon, with limited success. Then I showed him that sometimes it just works better to dig in with your hands. We had fun making silly faces and laughing at sticking our hands in the sticky "guts".
As usual I was very impressed with our handy work.....we ended up with 3 very spooky Jack-o-lanterns!

Very cool. I'm impressed Jackson would dig into the guts! Go Jackson! And I couldn't believe how big the twins looked in that picture! Especially Baden with all that cute blond hair--what is happening to our babies?!?
