Me and my Pirates
Halloween was such a fun day. Crazy as most days at our house are but loads of fun. We saw our Grandma and Grandpa and Nana and Papa who all had special Halloween treats for the boys. We also got to visit with Aaron and Lyse and Ryan and Tammy! My boys are very lucky to have such great aunts and uncles.

Daddy caught himself a "scurvy dog" (Noah).

Jackson was Captain Jack Sparrows for Halloween. He isn't wearing the dreadlock pirate hat that came with the costume it was a bit cumbersome for trick or treating. I love him in his pirate garb and mascara mustache.
Jackson was so excited, all day he had been asking if it was time to go trick or treating. Being patient is very hard for 3 year old boys. When we finally headed out it was so much fun watching him run from house to house yelling "TRICK OR TREAT". I nearly lost my voice by yelling to him to slow down and wait for mommy and daddy, who were carrying the twins. We trick or treated as a family on our street and then Doug took Jackson and a couple neighborhood boys to trick or treat on a few other streets while the twins and I went in to eat candy and hand out candy. Jackson came home with red checks and quite a stash of candy.

Jackson found a little corner in the front room to unload his candy. Smart boy....he has learned that the twins don't like to be left out of anything. He dumped out his bucket and proceeded to show us each and every piece of candy he had gotten. Telling us which were his favorite and eating quite a few along the way.
Baden didn't waste any time either.

It looks like you guys had a blast on Halloween! Lyse looked awesome! Jackson and the twins, of coarse, look better in their costumes than I ever imagined! I am glad we got to see some pictures. The pumpkin carving looked fun too! I'm glad Jackson got lots of candy...fun for you guys too:) Oh, and your basement looks great! We hope to come see it soon!
wow! a house full of pirates that is too cute. i can't believe how old the boys are all getting. we need to take our annual halloween photo!
Well shiver me timbers! They look so cute! You did a great job with the costumes--what do you mean you're not crafty?! And the mascara mustache looks great on Mr. Jackson. I'm glad you guys had a fun time (but sorry that you weren't feeling well. ugh.) I hope that the sugar-high has worn off by now--it living strong at our house! :) Halloween is great. And yes, we do need to get that photo! I love seeing how they have changed over the years...
