{check out that DINOCO logo}

We've had this box in the family room that the boys have been playing with for the last week. It's been a boat, an elevator and an excellent hiding place for a game of hide and go seek, but tonight Jackson and his Dad set to work transforming the box into "The King" from the movie "Cars". Doug is super creative and I was so impressed with the final product. Jackson loves his car. The question remains why exactly I spend money on actual toys when boxes are oh so much fun.

Pretty impressive! I feel the same way sometimes about buying toys when they can be entertained at times with household objects! We had a big box the other day and it was a spaceship. So much fun. Now that the weather is getting warmer and as soon as the baby is a few weeks older, I am all about parks, zoo, etc. Lets get together soon!

Wow wee, Doug. Way to go! That is one well-made Dinoco car. I think they would be proud.
I know about the buying of toys. Today Bruce and Annabel lined up all the dining room chairs and made a train and then used my salad servers and other utensils as people and other fillers. Well, there you go.

Awesome box Jackson! What a fun project. I didn't know a box could be so many things and so much fun! I guess with a creative mind like Jackson's, it could be anything!
