{the twins are at it again...}

So this afternoon I put the twins down for a nap. Well they weren't actually napping because I could hear them in there talking to one another and amusing themselves. I had peeked in on them a couple of times and just kept crossing my fingers that they would finally decide to take a nap. All of a sudden I heard a sickening thud and screaming, I ran in to find Baden on the floor. This is a whole new experience for me, Jackson NEVER attempted to get free of his crib. Thankfully Baden was fine, after some love and a kiss on the head he was good as new. But then I noticed the other mind boggling part of my story. Noah was no longer in his crib but was in Baden's. How he accomplished this feat I am unsure. I would love to have watched him do it. But since I am not sure how he did it I am not quite sure how to stop it from happening again. I may have to separate their cribs but I already know that won't go over well, they like to be able to touch and see each other, they get very upset when they are purposefully separated. I am hoping that the sight of seeing his brother falling to the floor and Baden actually experiencing the drop with keep them put but knowing the two of them I have a feeling the cribs may not be around too much longer.

Holy smokes! I've never had that before. You've got some brave boys! It's so cute that they love to be together so much. It must be fun to be a twin and have a second "you."

Good luck! You might have to brace yourself for the upcoming changes which are about to happen! Big boy beds? They are so cute! They are so lucky to have each other!

That is amazing. I wish you could put a camera in there and see how they did it! My mom always told me that Gina and I hated to be separated as well. It must be a twin thing. :)

anthony figured out how to get out at about 15 months...it was a nightmare. he was way to little to go into a big boy bed. i feel for you. we had to get "the tent" for his crib from babies r us. after a few week of being trapped in he never did it again. good luck!

I'm glad he wasn't hurt! How fun they have eachother, which leads to such double watch duty on your part, especially when they do such mysterious things (like getting into eachother's cribs. Crazy!) Good luck with the whole bed thing!

Sounds like it is time for a new firetruck and race car bed!
