Okay, I confess, I LOVE TV. I really do. In the past I have had some shows I have liked to watch but my really sad addiction started when we got the DVR (thank you Jim G.). I will admit it, if we had to get rid of our DVR I think I would be really sad. Maybe like death of a pet sad. I don't really have any great excuses for my addiction, although I will not hesitate to use my kids as one. See when you have kids you never see a show all the way through. You are always needed especially at a critical point in the story never during commercials. So TV watching really sucks when this is the case. And then comes the DVR. You never miss a show because it records for you and you can watch an hour show in 40 minutes (this is good for the kids right) plus it makes for much more efficient TV watching. (I should get paid for this great endorsement). Any how the true realization of the severity of my condition came as I was looking up all the fall premiere dates of my favorite shows so I could set them in the DVR. Yes, I am a really sad individual but now everyone knows my secret and I feel much better, and I am still just as excited for the new season of all my favorite shows.
