I have never had more fun at the zoo than I did tonight with our impromtu hour and a half trip to the zoo. The weather was perfect, there was hardly anyone there which gave us lots of room to roam with out me freaking out that someone was going to get lost and all the animals were awake and active.
Jackson was so excited to the the "kungrillas" and the "kungrafes". But the very first thing we had to see was the Ghost of the Bayou. He loves that white alligator. Every time we have been to see the white alligator he has been in the water, not tonight he was laying right up next to the glass it was awesome to see him so close. We left the stroller and let the twins walk and really experience the zoo for the first time. They loved it. Doug and I had so much fun watching them "oooo","ahhhhh" and point at every new thing they saw.
We had so much fun!!

OK, I cannot get over the "kungrillas" and "kungraffe". It is the funniest thing I've ever heard! I told Ernie and he even smiled! That's something. So you went late afternoonish? Sounds like a good time for us to head over there...
