DISNEYWORLD!!

We made it back after a nearly week long whirlwind Disneyworld vacation. We had a blast and survived the heat and humidity of Florida. We can't wait to fill you in on all the fun we had.
The boys did amazingly well on the long flight. Of course we had a few extra sets of hands. We were so glad that Nana, Papa, and aunt Noel could come with us. This trip would not have been possible without them.

Our first stop...Downtown Disney for some food at the Rainforest Cafe, shopping and picture taking. We got a little carried away with the picture taking to the point that Jackson began to rebel. Can you tell he had, had enough?

WARNING....DO NOT STICK THE MICKEY STICKERS ON YOUR FACE (OR YOUR SKIN). THEY REALLY STICK!! This was really cute until we went to take them off, they stuck worse than any band aid. They left big red circles and a small cut on Jackson's check.

At Epcot we loved the new Nemo ride and the GM Test Track, we really did not like the Living with the Land ride. Okay so seeing a 9 pound lemon was kind of cool but a boat ride through a greenhouse isn't exactly what we had in mind for the day's entertainment. Jackson kept asking for Mickey Mouse, so after an exhausting and brisk walk through world pavilions it was on to the monorail and off to the Magic Kingdom. We spent the afternoon in the Magic Kingdom riding rides and playing in FantasyLand and Toon Town. We did get to meet Mickey Mouse and Jackson got his long awaited Mickey ears. It was an awesome day!

The only way to travel. Here is Noah (I think) taking his turn riding on daddy's shoulders.

At MGM we got to meet LIGHTENING McQUEEN & MATER, which was awesome! Jackson also took his first and only ride on the Tower of Terror. He took it like the little man he is, but did say afterwards that he didn't want to ride the elevator ride again. Jackson was very brave and rode every ride that you can ride being 40" tall.

The Magic Kingdom was so much fun. Although it was super hot the lines were short so we were able to ride all of our favorite rides, most of them twice. The twins were little troopers all week. They are little boys who are always on the move so being held or being strapped into their stroller for long periods of time was really tough for them but they did great. They loved when we got them out and let them cool off in the fountains.

Jackson's new favorite ride is Splash Mountain. We went on it twice and got SOAKED both times.

Daddy and Papa feasting on the "famous" turkey legs. They were mighty tasty.

The last ride of the day was the carousel. The boys, especially the twins loved it. The smile on Noah's face during the entire ride was truly priceless, he loved every second and put up quite a fuss when he had to get off. We know where to start next time.

We topped the night off by staking out our claim early for a good spot along the parade route. The SpectraMagic parade was awesome. Jackson loved it, so did Noah. Baden fell asleep.

We were all moving pretty slow come Friday morning. The heat, long days and a few blistered toes had left us all a bit tired. The day started off with Jackson puking in the van and on me. Luckily that was an isolated incident, although Nana and I asked him most the day how his tummy was feeling. The safari ride at the Animal Kingdom was awesome and we enjoyed walking through the shady animal exhibits. Daddy and Papa couldn't get enough of Expedition Everest and Jackson took the brunt of the water on the rapids ride. The highlight of Jackson's day was having his face painted. He begged and begged to have his face painted, and finally we agreed, partly just to get some peace and quiet. He knew just what he wanted and was thrilled with the results.

Daddy and the twins checking out the animals. (Baden has the binky)

Crazy Jackson & Crazy Aunt Noel!!

The face of a superhero.

After a crazy, super early trip to the airport and a flight that seemed much longer than 3 and a half hours we are very glad to be home. Our trip was amazing but there really is no place like home, even though home means coming home to snow. What is up with that by the way?

Welcome home! It sounds like you guys had an incredible time! I'm glad the boys had a good flight (and you too!) and that the parks were all fun for the Parks. Yes, we leave tomorrow and we are all geared up for it! We've been pumping up the kids and we're ready to rumble...ca-chow!
p.s. sorry about the snow. Yeah, 30s today. What in the word?
